Help! I missed the fresher’s fair! Can I still join Queen’s Radio?

If you missed the fresher’s fair, don’t worry we are always accepting new members! Just email management at management@queensradio.org to find out when the next society wide meeting is, and bring along your registration fee! This is £5, which then goes back into the society to help provide you with the best experience as possible. Join now: https://fixr.co/event/737213508

How do I apply to host a show?

To apply for a show, simply email our lovely head of programming Andrew at programming@queensradio.org with the application form you can find on our website here. If your application is successful, he will let you know as soon as he has put your slot into the schedule!

When will full society meetings be held?

Society meetings will be held once a month! When you join we will add you to the Presenter’s Page on Facebook where there will be reminders of the meeting dates, times and location as well as an email sent out so make sure to check your emails regularly!

I want to help run the society! How can I get involved with the committee?

As a new member the first opportunity to get involved with running the committee would be as a deputy. The current applications for Deputy positions close around mid October but keep an eye out on the Presenter’s page and across our socials in case of any vacancies later in the year! Getting involved with the society in any capacity is great experience – so don’t be discouraged if you don’t get a deputy position this year.

Furthermore, we hold our Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the end of every academic year. You can run for the position of President, On-Air, Off-Air, Secretary or Treasurer at the AGM and following that the Management/Exec team will be taking applications for the following year’s committee.

To Apply for Station Manager, Off Air Manager and On Air Manager you must have been in the committee previously, but anyone who is a QUB student can apply to be Treasurer or Secretary!
