Ok so heres a couple of thoughts for freshers week...

- QR Dj's and acoustic sessions outside union or on grassy area infront of main Queens building (could be done maybe a few days of the week depending on the weather) and hopefully broadcast live on the radio.

- QR big music quiz followed by QR Dj's in the union.

Also we could attend the freshers fairs at Jordanstown and the UU belfast campus and possibly have the opportunity to do a live show from there too.

Any thoughts?

I was thinking about us organising a QR gig night in maybe the Speakeasy or bunatee (Or one of CDC's facilities if the Union are awkward about it) with 2 or 3 live bands, and QR DJs.
If this is financially doable It would be a great source advertisement for QR and perhaps earn us a few quid even if run it right.

No Problem. This is something I'm quite excited about and also something I really want to be able to put on a CV. Do you think the union will cooperate with letting us use a venue?
Keep me in the loop man

Union shouldn't be a problem with giving us a venue these days and they are supposed to be giving them to clubs and societies for free. I think we'd possibly have a harder time trying to get one of CDCs facilities, what with their financial problems ;)
